The info comes from an article in the local newspaper from 1911. It was also in a book about Confederate Veterans from the local area (they ref. the paper. This is why she is so intriguing; everyone seems to "know the story", but only what was printed; nothing else! This is all that I can uncover to date, but she was somewhat "famous" so, it just seems that there should be more out there!
