Martha Erline Schilling daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Forrest Schilling was born 1827 in WP, LA andshe died in San Augustine, TX. She married John Roberts Jr in 1844 in Tangipahoa Parish, LA. He was the son of John Senior and Mary Mize. I have his birth as 1821 in Mt Hermon, LA.
John and Martha's children are: (1)Serepta Jane born apr 1845 and died single in San Augustine, TX. (2)Steven Nicholas born Dec 1848 in WP, LA. He married Permelia A Simmons. Need information on their children, Walter, Martin and Isaac, Flora and Steven. (3) Elizabeth Jane born abt 1848. Need info on her, spouse and children. (4) Meridith Cornelius born 1851 and married Elizabeth Christine Simmons who was born 8 sep 1866; and their children Thomas born 1884 and married Maude, John Henry who married Lockie Miller; Evie who married Elbert Birdwell, Eddie who married Gladys, William who married Mary, Lucius who married Beulah Ellison, Fannie who married James Burns and Lillie who married a Wates and a Gammage.(5) Thomas James Roberts no info. (6) Cora A Roberts no info. (7) Laura C born Dec 1863 who married Sam McCauley. He was born 27 Mar 1868 in San Augustine, TX son of ? Their children are Thomas, Maud, Curtis, Millie and Albert. No other info on them. (8) John Walter born 1867 no other info. (9) Daniel E Roberts born 1871 in Many, Sabine Parish, Louisiana no other info. (10) Elisha J Roberts born 1875 in Many, Sabine, LA no other information.
