JACK MCCLELLAND/MARY ELIZA HOWELL, B. 1830'S?, AL, LA
Posted by: Charlotte Stanley (ID *****2907) Date: September 04, 2009 at 09:26:20

I am seeking information on Jack McClelland and Mary Eliza Howell. They were husband and wife. I do not have exact birthdates for them, but estimate that they were both born around or before 1835?? in Alabama, although Jack may have possibly been born in Scotland. Some time before 1852, they relocated to the Mansfield, Louisiana area. They had 7 sons and 1 daughter. I've been told that Jack's father was from Scotland. I do not have information on his mother. I have no information on Mary Eliza's parents or possible siblings.

I would very much appreciate any information that anyone may be able to share on any of the above people. I do have LOTS of information on their descendants, which I will share with anyone who is interested.

Thank you,
Charlotte Stanley
