Locating Robert Noles of VA
Posted by: Kavin Johnson, MD (ID *****7363) Date: July 23, 2009 at 23:54:10
  of 18908

I am trying to find any information on my ggg-grandfather ROBERT NOLES/KNOLLS b. 1795 Virginia. He obviously lived on some plantation and married a lady named "Charlotte". They where both sold to a second slave owner in "Lower Coast Algiers" (New Orleans) shortly after the 1803 Louisians Purchase. The above information I obtained from the US Census 1870 & 1880. Robert NOLES was living with his son Moses ANDERSON in New Orleans, LA.

I NEED ANY INFORMATION ON HIS EARLY LIFE, STARTING WITH A BIRTH CERTIFICATE. But I may have to approach this in reverse, with a death certificate?

Sincerly yours,
