Re: Nancy Thurston Harrison (1821-1853); James Madison HARRISON (1821-1848):
I am hoping that someone could help me with a lookup with the death certificates of either of my Gggrandparents, James Madison HARRISON or Nancy Bagley THURSTON HARRISON SPENCER.
The problem seems to be that all records indicate:
1848; "
12 Jan 1853: Madisonville, St Tammany, Louisiana
for Nancy Bagley THURSTON HARRISON (SPENCER).
I have had noone as yet to verify James' death and buriel in Illinois or for that matter in Louisiana where Nancy is buried. I do have some verbal and written documentation on Nancy's death and buriel (St Tammany Parish, Louisiana).
Please note my new email address: [email protected]
Any help on James and his siblings being raised by two of his aunts in the Belleville, St Clair, Illinois area would be appreciated. I need the "aunts" married names and of course, James' parents' names. See previous posts for more detail.
Best regards and God be with you,
Mike Harrison Sr

PS A preferred spelling on Mamie's maiden name is McMannus and my "adopted" dad Van H Harrison's middle name is "Horton" not Hardin. Also, Benjamin is my Ggrandfather as you can see from the lineage below.
The lineage is as follows: James Madison HARRISON(1821-1848)
Benjamin HARRISON (1847-1888)
(1888-1973) Barney James HARRISON
(1915-1993) Van Horton HARRISON
(1946- ) Michael Colon HARRISON SR
