Funeral services for Emily Louise Ellis Cooley will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2004 in the chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Rev. Jim Spencer officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Pine Prairie, La. Services are under the direction of Rush Funeral Home in Pineville.
Mrs. Cooley, 78, of Pineville died Friday, March 5, 2004 in Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria.
She was a native of Pine Prairie. She was a member of Kingsville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She was a member of The Ball Senior Citizens Group.
Mrs. Cooley is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Cooley; one son, Michael Wayne Cooley; and one daughter, Phyllis Dale Cooley.
Survivors include her two brothers, Charles Ellis of Turkey Creek and Floyd Ellis of San Antonio, Texas; and three grandsons, Matthew E. Cooley of Lake Charles, Mark E. Cooley of Vinton, La., and Casey Ellis Cooley of Welsh, La.
Friends may call Sunday, March 7, 2004 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. at Rush Funeral Home in Pineville.

He was an oil field sales and service consultant for several years. He
was president of B.A.S.S. Federation of Louisiana.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Cooley; three sons, Mathew Edward,
Mark Eric and Casey Ellis Cooley, all of Welsh; and his mother, Mrs.
Louise Cooley of Ball.
