I am searching for any information about William B(Beecher?) Owens born 1 Dec 1841--especially parents. Family oral history is that he was born in Pike County, MS. He came to Virginia at the time of the Civil War with the 9th Louisiana Infantry, Company H and married Frances Irene (Fanny) Taylor in Page County, VA in 1863 and remained there until his death in 1908. Fanny Taylor was daughter of a well known preacher name Thornton Hamilton Taylor.
