Charles Henri Pucheau (1884-1948) former sheriff of Evangeline Parish m. Lillie Mae Frye (1902-1989). Both died in Evangeline Parish, Ville Platte, LA

Their son. Charles Pucheau (1924-1971) m. Elaine Guillory (1925-1976). Elaine was an RN and I do know that she did family research. Both are buried in The Old Ville Platte Cemetery in Ville Platte, LA

Sheriff Pucheau had another son, William "Bill" Pucheau former District Attorney of Evangeline Parish, Ville Platte, LA who married Gay Soileau. As far as I know both are still living in Ville Platte.

I have one more Charles Pucheau in my database:
Charles Pucheau b. 26 Aug 1924 d. Jan 1975. Information found on the Social Security Death Index, but there was no residence code to show where he died.
