I have an ancestor named Catherine Plummer, born in Plaquemines Parish in 1847. Her father was William Plummer born in Washington, D.C. in 1829. Her mother was Adelaide Ragas born in Plaquemines Parish in 1825, and died in 1850. The mother of Adelaide was Catherine Buras. It gets complicated! Is this any help?
