The main branch of the Ouachita Parish library in Monroe, LA has most of the parish censuses. They have a great genealogy room that covers a lot of parishes in Northeast Louisiana. A lot of libraries with genealogy sections will sometimes have paid subscriptions to the more popular ancestry websites that have the censuses online. The Ouachita Parish library has these subscriptions and patrons can view the census online or the old-fashioned way using their microfiche machines. Jackson Parish is right next to Ouachita Parish, so if you make a trip to Jonesboro I would definitely plan on visiting the library in Monroe also. It would be worth your time. Jonesboro's library website shows they have microfiche censuses also (Jackson Parish Library - 614 South Polk Avenue - Jonesboro, LA 71251 - Phone: 318.259.5697 - website: http://www.youseemore.com/JacksonParish/default.asp). I don't know if they have a genealogy room or not, I've never been to this library.
You might also try your local LDS and see if they can get you a copy of the census on loan for you to look at from your hometown.
I would offer to do a lookup for you, but I now live in Texas and don't have much time to go to the library when I do get to visit.
Hope all of this helps you.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
