Thank You sooooo much Carmelo. I am convinced that this is the right Carriere family. I do have Mary's death certificate, which her name is spelled Carriere, and other documents spell it Carrier/ Carray/ or Carry, etc., which makes it hard to trace. My GAunt always told us we had some Irish in us, and I do know about the French, but more so from the Poynot's who also came from France. Wow. I will have to search for how Daniel and Margaret came to Louisiana. If they married in LA or somewhere else than moved to LA. If Daniel had siblings, his parents. Thank you again for your look up and provided me with great info.
Are you also researching this family? Are you a descendant as well?
