I wanted to give you some information that I have. There are some "Alessi" in Independence, Louisiana (Burnell Alessi); Hammond, Louisiana (Roddy Alessi) (Margie Alessi Compton who married Francis Compton Jr.).
Joseph and Matria Alessi (both deceased now) had 2 children (that I know of)- Jerry Alessi (passed away at age 44 in 1988) and Margie Alessi (mentioned above and still living)
Carl "Doc" and Maria Alessi ("Doc" is deceased and Maria I do not know about) had at least one child that I know of - Roddy Alessi (mentioned above and still living)
I am sorry that I don't have much more information than that. My step-father was Jerry Alessi, he had two daughters named Deborah and Carlos (which I have lost contact with since my step-father's death. Margie Alessi Compton had 2 children named Mindy and Chad (both of those still living).
There is also a tie into the "Stout" family in Independence (if I am not mistaken) Douglas Stout lives on E. Alessi Road in Independence, Louisiana. The people that I have mentioned first and last names that are still living, are listed in the phone book.
