This from The Southwest Louisiana Records 1759-1900 CD by Fr. Donald Hebert:

MAGILL, David Weeks Succ. dated 17 Sept. 1863 (SM Ct. Hse.: Succ. # 1811)

You can get a copy of this succession from the St. Martin Parish Clerk of Court for a small fee. The succession should say if he was married and had any heirs. I do not see a marriage record in the SWLR CD.
