I double checked the real estate value showing up for David in 1860, and it's typed correctly here. I wondered how a man his age could have such a large sum showing, then I see that in 1850 it appears is father was an attorney. It then looks like he may have died prior to 1855 and that is wife remarried. David's fortune could have come from the estate of his father, he being the eldest son. I did not find any info to suggest he ever married tho.
