Covington County, Mississippi Stewarts

I have spoken to many of you over the years about the Covington County, Mississippi Stewarts. I have been researching these Stewarts for about 15 years and have shared my research and info with many of you. I have had a slack period, but I am about to jump back into this thing feet first. There are many unanswered questions about how these Stewarts in Covington were connected, circa 1840-1880. I have followed these Stewarts from Edgefield, South Carolina in 1803 to St Helena, Louisiana and Amite County, Mississippi. From there to Hinds County, MS, then to Newton County and finally into Covington County, where they joined James C. Stewart, who was already there. There are too many similarities between these families that cannot simply be overlooked. I have also seen things that make me cringe, knowing them to be false. Not from bad intent, but from mistakes and assumptions made along the way. As any of you who have ever spoken to me know, I am always happy to share what I have with any of you. Let's get together and solve some of these mysteries. Please email me if interested and I'll call you back by phone. I look forward to making new friends and aquaintances and talking to some of you I haven't talked to in a while.
