Please I need your help! My GG Grandparents were John Freeman and Elizabeth Prince. They appear in the census records as follows.
Possibly 1840 census Regiment 6 Morgan Alabama
1850 Census Somerville Morgan Alabama
John Freeman b. abt. 1802 Ala
Elizabeth b. abt. 1802 Ala
1860 Census Williamsburg Covington Mississippi
John Freeman b. 1800 SC
Elizabeth b. abt. 1805 NC
Family members show up in the 1870 Census in Winn Louisiana
living with a Daniel and Elisabeth Freeman. We think this could still be John and Elizabeth Freeman. However there may have been a mistake in the census or John and Elizabeth were deceased and their children and grandchildren were living with family members after the Civil War.
