My great-grandfather, Alexander (Alex) HALL was born in LA 3 Jan 1837. He and his father, A. L. "Beardy" HALL, came to San Saba County, TX in 1855 - no wife or mother and no siblings.
"Beardy" was killed by the Indians in TX and Alex married Polly Ann BROWN and had a family and both Alex and Polly are buried in Big Uncle Cemetery on Richland Creek in San Saba County, TX. Any info on these two would greatly be appreciated.
