Mason's/ Lewis' in Louisiana
Posted by: Sherlyn Caraway (ID *****1295) Date: July 25, 2006 at 17:02:09

I'm still hunting for ANY information on James H. Mason (1846-1899) and his sister Margaret Ann Mason (1842-1896).
She married Thomas Charles Lewis and they had 6 children:
Mary Lucinda (Molly), Lillian Ida, James Cargil, Savory (male), ? and ?. He married Lucy Caroline Betterton. This all took place in/around north Louisiana. She and Thomas lived in south Louisiana their latter years and are buried there in Church Point cemetery in St. Landry parish. Any information would be GREAT! I especially would like to hear from any decendants of Thomas Charles Lewis and Margaret Ann Mason. Thanks
