William Pinckney Rose, St. Tammany Parish, LA

William Pinckney Rose married Mary 'Polly' Vardiman in St. Tammany Parish in 1817. Mary was a widow of John Smith. I came across a reference that said William Pinckney was first married to a widow, Elizabeth Campbell. This may be true, since the St. Tammany marriage license of Elizabeth Campbell's son (Beasley Campbell) describes Beasley as 'stepson of William P. Rose and son of Betsy Rose.' Does anybody know if the 'William P.' indicated on Beasley Campbell's marriage license is indeed the same person as William Pinckney Rose?
