Have you had a chance to visit the library?

You need a library card number.
Go to http://lalibcon.state.lib.la.us

One is the "Gale Database." It has most of the genealogy info you are looking for.

We find a lot on this site: http://www.ancestry.com

Also we use Family Search also: http://www.familysearch.org

What about http://genealogy.com

My family that researches enough pay for a subscription, the rest go to the library, copy and paste the INFO to a Web based email account, send it, go home and open the email, copy and paste the INFO into Family Tree Maker.

Best regards with your searching: Sir Gary in New Orleans
