Parents of Pleasant H. Prater/Barbara Wood Prater

I'm trying to find out the relationship of Pleasant H. Prater to Barbara Wood Prater.

Pleasant H. was born about 1810, died Oct. 19, 1847 and married Elizabeth Frances Ann Frazier on April 25, 1844 in Catahoula Parish, LA. They had one son, John H. Prater, who lived with his uncle John Prater after being orphaned by the age of 4, and died around the age of 19 in Tennessee during the Civil War (about 1864), either killed in action, or perhaps drowned. I have been told that a John Prater left a will which is on record in Vidalia, Louisiana, leaving his property to his Aunt Barbara, Uncle John, and Aunt Mary Prater Huddleson, but I'm not sure WHICH John Prater's will this is. If it is John H's will, he was very young when he wrote it.

Barbara Wood Prater was born March 31, 1803 (or maybe 1808), and died in 1865. She is buried at Oswalt Cemetery, Concordia Parish, Louisiana. She married Joseph O'Rourke in Wilkinson Co., MS, on June 25, 1826. Their children were Mary Jane (married S.B. Oswalt in 1848), Catherine Mary (died young), Barbara Ellen and Joseph (twins), and Nancy Elizabeth, who married a Taylor, and also Henry Donnelly).

I think Pleasant H. Prater and Barbara Wood Prater may have been brother and sister, but I don't have solid information on the parents of either. Our family records say that Barbara Wood Prater was born near Woodville, MS, and was somehow related to the Woods for whom the town was named. Her mother's maiden name was supposedly Kind.

I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out who is who in this confusing Prater family. Can anybody help?
