There was a lot of damage in Tangipahoa Parish. I have never seen anything like it. There are many trees down and houses damaged. Our electric power was restored last week, however we do not have telephone service. (As you can imagine -- no cable TV.) I would imagine that it is much the same in Washington Parish.
