Yes, Karen, I do have a copy of Henry George's death certificate. His parents aren't listed. In fact, the certificate is a mess. They wrote someone else's information on it, then scratched over it, and then wrote in Henry's info. Even my grandmother's maiden name isn't listed. The only thing helpful about the certificate is his date of death, his name, and the address where they lived. It was very disappointing.
The mess with his certificate isn't uncommon, unfortunately. When I received the certificate for my deceased husband, it was also had incorrect information that was heavily scrathed over and corrected. Husband's death certificate was recent - 1996. Things haven't changed much in 60 years.
