Hi, I just posted an old newspaper article reporting a fatal squabble between Mr. WADSWORTH and Mr. CARSON. WADSWORTH was described as "Representative of Plaquemines," and Mr. CARSON as "Commander of the 'Giraffe.'" I assume the Giraffe was a steamboat. The row was concluded in New Orleans, and COOPER ended up dead.
