1845 news online WADSWORTH Murders CARSON

Hi,

I just posted an old newspaper article reporting a fatal squabble between Mr. WADSWORTH and Mr. CARSON. WADSWORTH was described as "Representative of Plaquemines," and Mr. CARSON as "Commander of the 'Giraffe.'" I assume the Giraffe was a steamboat.

The row was concluded in New Orleans, and COOPER ended up dead.

This was scanned from an original issue (NOT microfilm!) of the The Maysville Eagle newspaper (Maysville, KY) dated December 2, 1847, and you can see it online here:
