Renee, if there is a library near you, the reference books to use are SouthWest Louisiana Records by Donald Hebert. I only have the first two volumes and there are LeNormand listed in these books (up to 1830).
If your library doesn't have them, perhaps they will participate in the IntraLibrary Loan Program.
