Here is what I have found: 1910 census - Ward 4, LaSalle LA, 13 May 1910, page 247 King, John F., 51, 1st marriage, married 27 yrs., born in MO, father in TN and mother in IL; ran a boarding house Martha A., 44, 9 children with 5 living, MO GA MO Myrtle D., 18, born MO Mamie, 13, MO Blanchie, 9, MO Harvey, 6, LA and one of the boarders was: Chas. York, boarder, 19, AR TN AR; in the lumber busines ------------ 1900 census - Cowan Twp., Wayne Co. MO, 26 June 1900, page 57a King, John F., born March 1862, 38, married 17 yrs., MO TN TN, log foreman Martha A., Mar. 1867, 33, 7 children with 4 living; MO TN TN Artha L., Mar. 1885, 15, MO Myrtle D., Mar. 1892, 8, MO Roy Lee, Aug. 1893, 6, MO Mamie J., Jan. 1897, 3, MO ----------- The only Charles York I can find born in AR. This may have been your ancestor. The age is off tho. 1900 Wallace Twp., Stone Co. AR, 23 June 1900, page 159a York, John, 46, Oct. 1863, married 2 yrs., born in TN as were his parents; Farmer Bettie S., Mar. 1877, 23, no children, MO MO MO Charles, 7, Mar. 1893, 7, AR TN AR George, 3, May 1897, 3, " ----------- Bettie must have been at least the second wife. -------- Jean Hubler - volunteer - not related Notify Administrator about this message?
