Anna Clark
Posted by: Fred Clark (ID *****4474) Date: February 28, 2005 at 22:02:01
  of 18908

When my grandfather Fred Willis Clark passed away, a bible was found with the following inscription:

W.C. Clark, born March 20,1899
Anna Clark, Box 372, Melville, Louisiana born November 26, 1918

W. C. is my grandfather's brother, Walter, but who is Anna?

Walter and another brother, Floyd were listed as living in Opelousas, Louisiana at the time of my great grandfather John's death in December of 1951.
My grandfather also lived there for a time in the late 40's or early 50's after he and my grandmother divorced.
Most likely all 3 brothers were working for a travelling carnival at the time. (seriously)
Was Anna a wife or daughter of Walter?
All the Clark males listed in this post were born in Illinois.
Any clues would be helpful.
