Paul, I absoutely don't know about Andrew. It was a shot in the dark, so to speak. I can tell you that my Kennedy line connected with the Ellis family. Two Ellis sisters married two Kennedy brothers. The Kennedys came from Edgefield, SC. Their names were John Jr., Stephen, Jesse and Nathalie. There may be a James, am not sure. Father was John Kennedy Sr. m. Elizabeth Blocker Lofton, a widow. My gggrandmother was Mary Elizabeth Kennedy who married first an Oliver Buck then Seth Moore Winstead. They owned plantations in what is now Pointe Coupee Parish, LA. Since it was on the river it could have been in Avoyalles Parish at the time. Know their post office was Simsport, LA. Should you wish to contact me my e-mail address is There must be a connection with your Andew because of the Ellis middle name. Do you have any more information on the Kennedy line or the Ellis? If you do would love to compare notes. Correze
