Archilles Alpough, 1870's,B Rouge/Lebeau

I would like information about the granparents of my father. No living relative can give me a good starting point for my search and I was born and raised away from the rest of the family and am curious. I know Archilles (could be spelled wrong) lived in the Baton Rouge area and had a sister at a convent in New Orleans. She later may have become the Mother Superior of this convent. Archilles and his wife later moved to the Lebeau area and had 5-7 children of which one, Issac, is my grandfather.

Iwould appreciate any help with this information. Please e-mail me directly.

Thank You,
