Hi Connie.
I checked the LA Death Index for you.I found a listing for Almira:
Almira Miller Jones, died 15 Jun 1925, age 70 years, inWashington Parish, LA.
I couldn't find Thomas M. Jones, but this might be his brother:
Burrell M. Jones 10 Jan 192971 yearsCalcasieu Parish, LA
Whit Jones 21 Mar 194176 YearsWashington
These death certificates should list the names of their parents and verify their birth dates. You can order them from the LA Secretary of State: http://www.sec.state.la.us/archives/archives/archives-index.htmhttp://www.sec.state.la.us/archives/archives/archives-index.htm
I checked the censuses as well.
