Mary Nathaly Carron m. 7 Oct. 1856 Florentin N. Stout (Opel. Ct. Hse.: Mar. #1498) Hebert, V. 6, p. 108
As a rule, there would be a cross-ref. under Stout but not this time.
Florentine Stout m. 10 June 1850 Elisabeth Seal (Opel. Ct. Hse.: Mar. #768) Hebert. V. 5, p. 531
Where is Indian Bayou? I have a Louisiana map but it is temp. misfiled.
The Federal Census is the same as St. Landry Parish, LA Census. I see that Florentin died in 1890. The entire 1890 census was destroyed by fire.
How lucky his death date was on his C.S.A. service record. I am still looking for one C.S.A. veteran who was still alive in 1907, but his death date does not appear on his service record from GA. You have learned a lot researching online.
Your dates were accurate and I assumed you knew the marriages were civil. If you ordered his marriage records, you may learn his parents' names, but there is no guarantee. In the early days, Fr. Hebert's volunteers recorded the parents' names on a civil marriage, but stopped doing that, presumably when the parents' names were not included on the marriage license.
You may be able to find Napoleon on the 1850 St. Landry Parish Census. Ask your librarian if a library near you has a subscription to Ancestry.com online. There is also a printed index for the 1850 census. Ask your librarian for help.
