Evangeline Parish is between St.Landry and Allen Parish. Meredith White married Louise Lee in St. Landry parish.I first find Meredith in the 1850 census in Calcasieu parish which was once part of St.Landry.Louise Lee was from Louisiana. In the 1860 census there is a Daniel White with this family that is 32 and that is 12 years older than their oldest child.
