Charles Gilbert Lawton who died July 18, 1920 in Rapides Parish Louisiana is listed on the Louisiana Death Index. You can order a copy of the record by writing to: Secretary of State, P O Box 94125, Baton Rouge, LA 70804. Make your check for $5.00 (or money order) payable to Vital Records. Send your request to the Secretary of State at the address above (this is the State Archives). I usually get a reply within a week to ten days..They are nice people down there. I hope this helps.
