John P. Crawford, b, 1853 LA

I am researching my great-grandfather, John P. Crawford. He was born in 1853 in Louisiana. There is a family on the 1860 Tyler County Texas census that I believe to be his family. Anyone knowing anything about this family below, please contact me:
455-S.A. Crawford, age 38, female: widowed: born AL
G.W., age 18, Male: born MS
M.C., age 17, female: born MS.
J., age 15, Male: born MS.
E., age 12, Female; born MS
L., age 9, Female; born MS.
J.P., age 8, Male; born LA
L., age 5, Male; born LA
On the 1880 census for Angelina County Texas, John P. is found alone. Living very close by is a female, C.A. Crawford, age 56, born in Alabama, who may be the same individual who was enumerated as S.A. Crawford on the 1860 Tyler County Texas Census, and apparent mother of John P. Crawford. Any information on this family would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Lavern Osburn
