Thank you so much!! I really appreciate your efforts. I did notice the discrepancy in George's birthplace and parents birthplace. I think the Illinois birthplace is the correct one. I had also found them on the 1880 census. I'm fairly new at this (only 3 years or so) and am now beginning to understand the value of the census reports and getting the hang of how to use them. Georgianna Main is the mystery. She could be the 24 year old in Maine in 1870 as that would make her 34 in 1880 as the census reflects. I would suspect she was named after her father possibly George?
