Louisiana, Orleans Parish, Part of Pct. 10, New Orleans, ED86, Sheet 296A, 21-22 April 1910, 4523 St. Peter St., dwelling/family 183, Walis, F., head, age 35, married 1 year, born Arizona, father born Texas, mother born Arizona; Minnie, wife, age 26, married 1 year, mother of none, born Missouri, father born Germany, mother born ??

This is a difficult entry to read. It appears that father's birth place was first recorded as Louisiana, then Texas written lightly over it. Same with mother, first Louisiana, then what seems to be Arizona lightly penciled in over that. Walis is some sort of worker, but I am unable to read what kind. Both of Minnie's parents might have been born in Germany.

Hope this is the family that you are looking for!

Jack
