Hello,
I am trying to find out any information on the Chauff family from New Orleans.
Mt good friend Mary Dean Small is looking for information on her family and her adoption as well as to find her sister, we are not sure on sisters name.
Mary was told that her mother was Doris May Chauff , she married or went with;
Henry Small
George Beaudin
Mary was told the following on her birth mom's brother's and sisters:
Father ; John Chauff Mother ; Julie
Children:
Zelda
Ester
Dorthy
Doris
Florence
Clara
Henry
Edward
Mary was raised by Dorthy and Donald Wagenhouser the sister of Doris. They all lived in or around New Orleans. Mary has memories of Dorthy and Donald and all are wonderful, they loved her like she was thiers. Mary was told by one of her aunts she has a sister born a few years before MAry ( Mary is in her early 50's). She was told the sister was born in Tennessee, when she talked to her Aunt abd told her we looked there she said maybe she was born in Mobil, Alabama. The following surmanes are married to thr above children;
Deckleman, Wolf, Wagenhouser, McMurry, Buhler, Gronin, Boudreaux.
