Bert I wrote to you last Sunday and yesterday the message was returned. I would love to communicate with you. We have some information we would like to verify. My husbands' father said that his Mother (Mary Alice Diggins) and Father (Thomas Frances McAllister) were married twice. They were living in Tennesee (Stuart County). Our information was that Thomas was Catholic and Mary Alice was protestant. Because of this they moved to Louisiana (family not happy about the marriage). In what research we have done, the McAllisters in Ireland are mostly protestant. We wonder if the story is backwards.

Another interesting point you made was the mention of the name Fuget. The family legend says that Thomas Frances uncle was Thomas Fuget McAllister. We have never been able to verify that.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Judy
