PLAXCO and LELAND in Louisiana early 1900s...

Hi,

I'm hoping to find some leads on my cousin's family. My uncle was born Leland Plaxco in Shreveport, Louisiana (I'm guessing in the 1920's). His father's name was John Henry Plaxco - he may have been born in Decatur, Texas; his mother was Ruth Marie Leland - it is believed Ruth Marie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This is actually ALL that we know about this line, and we would love to try to learn more. If you have any suggestions, leads - ANYTHING - I'd love it and be very, very grateful!

Blessings,

Dina McBride
