EXCHANGE OF PRISIONERS
Last Wednesday approximately 800 federal prisoners passed by our city, going in Attakapas with an aim of being exchanged. These prisoners are a portion of those which we took in the battle of Bellevue, last 3 November.
We do not know under which terms this exchange is made, but in all the cases, if we obtain an equal number of our prisoners all is for best.
Many of the articles indiate the State of Louisiana, District Court,
Parish of St. Landry case, file or record number.

HINT:
Because I was able to provide LSU with the Names of the Deceased, Names of Newspaper, Issues of Newspaper, Pages and Column Numbers, and Source numbers, and because this was on Microfilm or Microfische or something like that, I only was charged 80 cents per page, plus $5.00 for shipping and
handling. They let me know that it would have been less expensive to go there, myself, to get copies, however I live far away and needed to have them do it for me and ship it to me. I feel the copies I received are priceless. The people at LSU were very polite and very nice to deal with.
