My husband, Calvin Hall, is the son of Quinnie Wesley Hall 1909, and Ella Mae (Vicknair) Hall 1910...both are dead and buried in Hammond...Their family of threes sons, and five girls were all raised and married in Hammond, but one! After stint in Army, Cal moved to Shreveport, where we met and married. There is no one in the family who has any info. on his Dad's Hall family or Mom's Vicknair family. The parents lived in Hammond from the early 1930s until their deaths. All the children are still in the general area...Would like to locate any of the children, grand-children or friends of the other members of Quinne Hall's family...Uncle Norman Hall and Uncle George Hall. Also, if there are any relatives of Ella Mae Vicknair's brother's or sister's...Jesse Vicknair, Lillian (Vicknair) Pifster, Joseph Verdon Vicknair, Elmo Vicknair, & Gentry Vicknair.
My husband's grandparents on his mother, Ella Mae Vicknair's side...were: Joseph Octave Vicknair and Eaise Berthelot...please contact us at...
