I am looking for information of the Dixon family who lived in and around the Lincoln Parish areas abt. 1883-1894.
Tilman Brady Dixon and wife Ellen Reynolds had 5 children at the time, Jesse, Ella Jane, Viola, Robert Marshall, and Tilman Barney. Ellen Reynolds Dixons' father was John H.(Hammonds)Reynolds who lived around the Hico area with his 2nd wife, Mary Virginia Barnes Reynold. They are both buried in the Corinth Cemetery. (South of Hico)
Tilman Brady Dixon also had a brother living in the same area, James Riley Dixon and wife Mary Frances Hunt Dixon. Their children were Henry Edgar, Mattie Lee, James A. "Tom", and Reuben Rudolphus(b. 1896-possible born during their move to Tx.)
All, including the Reynolds had moved to Louisiana from Alabama.
The Dixons then moved to Texas abt. 1895-1896?
