Thank you so much for your reply. It appears that Pierre Rousseau owned Melodia, Bush Grove and Upper Ten at sometime. But he wasn't born until 1822. I believe, his grandfather, Yves Cyprian Rousseau owned a plantation north of Thibodeaux. Maybe that would be listed on the 1810 census. If you could look that up on your census, I would be very thankful. Are you also reseaching the Rousseau family?
