I am trying to complete the genealogy of Onezime Trahan and Eva Duprea Biarbe/Beard who lived in Jefferson Davis Parish, particularly in Lake Arthur for most of their lives. I have over 7,000 names in the family lineage, but I am looking for descendants of one of Onezime's sons, Onezild (sp?) Trahan who married Lezima Guidry. Onezild was born December 23, 1884 in Lake Arthur. He married Lezima on November 27, 1903 in Jennings. I descend directly from Onezild's brother, Joseph Dupre Trahan, who was my grandfather. I will be happy to share our family information with you in exchange for any help you can give with this particular line.
