Teresa, it has been a while since your post so maybe you have found the info. If not, I'll pass this on FYI. I recently went to Metairie Cemetery to help someone out but discovered that the cemetery records took a bath, compliments of Katrina. According to the office staff, there were no backup or computerized records. I was informed that the records have been sent out of state to be "refurbished." I guess that means salvaged. They told me that the process will take about 8 months, more-or-less.

Thus, unless you ALREADY know the exact location, you're not going to find it out right now. Metairie is a HUGE cemetery so just driving around without a specific location in mind is an exercise in futility. I know from experience. However, if you do know the location then advise and I will try to get the info for you.
