Looking for any information on the family of Martin Williams who m. Permelia HUDDLESTON in Blount Co on 5 June 1823. They remained in Alabama until sometime between 1833-1838.

They were briefly in Texas before fleeing Santa Anna to live in Louisiana by 1840. By 1850 they were in Jackson Parish. Martin died in the 1850s and Permelia died between 1867-1870.

Children were Morgan, Tabitha Catherine, Frances, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Permelia Elvira, Nancy, and Julia Ann. My line is Elizabeth, who returned to Texas, and I have some more descendant info from her branch at http://www.hypertree.com/williams/

Thanks!
Shari
