Oakgrove Jackson Parish?

In her 1907 application for a Confederate Widow's pension, my Great-Great Grandmother indicated she was married in 1853 in "Oakgrove, Jackson Parish. I cannot even find this on maps of that time period. Was this a community or could it have been the name of a plantation that may have existed in those days. Any info will help.
