Still would like some history on the Tarver Plantion. I found Rufus M. Tarver the plantion owners family line from a will his father Andrew H. Tarver make in 1852 Stewart Co. Ga., from a family member. Rufus had a brother James D. and 4 sisters Catherine, Eliza, Ellen, and Salina. His father Andrew H. Tarver born April 27,1780 N.C. died 1855 Ga. wife Nancy H. Draper d/o James Draper. Andrew's father was John Tarver b.abt.1754 d. 1810 wife Elizabeth Jorden. Three of Rufus's children are found in Bienville Parish in the 1880 census Rufus Jr., Mary, and Clara. I have some information on them and will share.
