Thanks for the reply to the Hodge family query. George Washington Hodge had 3 brothers. One died very young, his name was either Jesse, Richard or Ralph? then, the next younger than george was John Hodge, who married Sally__?, then the youngest, was Conus Hodge, who had the same father as George and John, but, a different mother, from what I've been told. Some seem to think these are the children of a Richard Hodge. I can not get to the 1890 census anywhere, so that makes a problem, as I did find George and Isabelle in the 1900 census. Conus was also living with them at age 4. There was also a Nettie Hodge listed as 'mother', which would have been George's mother, as he was head of household, but, the age was same as his. George Hodge and Isabel Miller were married August 26, 1894, at Remmel, Cash Township, Jackson county, Arkansas. Not sure where they were buried, as there is no stone. But, I was told , it was in McCall's cemetery, Remmel, in the Church of Christ graveyard.
John Hodge and his family are all buried at the Johnstown cemetery, in Johnstown, Jackson County, Arkansas. It is known as the Memory Gardens cemetery now. Conus Hodge married Silvia Goldman. Conus and Silvia are buried at McCall's cemetery, in Remmel, also.
If you think you may know this family, I can give more detailed information. Please send me an email. I would sure appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.
