Hello Kay, My Aunt is 80 and lives in La. She has gone to Tenn. N.C etc., doing Gen. Research. She had everything looked up and copied from the original Documents about 20 yrs. ago. Some of it is: (she dictictated over the phone.) 1. Succession of Thomas Brown #206 Book F 1838, also documents in regards to the succession. Children listed, Mary, Thomas, Durham, Shepard, Amelia (AS YOU LISTED) 2. #306, Law suit Ester Brown Vs Daniel Brown Oct.25-1838 settled 1842 3. A paper about Daniel Brown who died 1816 being Sheriff and Thomas Dept. sheriff 4. A Dr. Bill Jan 6, 1842, Dr. Davidson 5. Book I page 452 #860 Filed 4-7-1830 on Minors, children of Ester and Thomas. 6. Application for Passport: Moved from Liberty N.C. across Creek Nation for Moses B. and Daniel Brown, Farmers, with Mother-in-law and 4 children, 5 Negroes dated March 1810 7. Land sale: Oct. 3, 1806 Williamson Co. Richard Brown to. 8. Land Sale: sold 32 Acres on Richard Creek in 1795 near old Station, part of 640 acres owned by Thomas Brown. 9. Land Sale: March 25, 1795 sold 256 Acres .Pitkin signed most of the Documents Laywer? 10. Document 11 April 1795 Guardian James Mulherin Children Rachel, Thomas, Daniel 11. She had these dates listed: Thomas, 1793 Tenn., Richard m. Jane Bridges widow of William Billings, Moses, m Mary brown, b. 1790, Joshua 1789 N.C., Jacob 1795, Tenn. Deborah to Richard Swanson, Williamson Co. Tenn. 12. The Succession of RICHARD BROWN. I think… 13. Our Thomas married in Natchez at ”the shaking of the Earth” AN earthquake? Remember, our line came from Amanda Brown daughter of Thomas, and Easter Tarkington. So this Thomas perhaps was a brother to Richard m. Jane. I do not know where our Thomas fits in all the above information. My Aunt has more, properly everything in Davidson Co. with a Brown name on it copied. She read this off to me rather quickly on the phone, so NONE OF IT IS 100% accurate. For details I will have to ask her again. Can you make heads out of it? Let me know please. And yes, Firmin Guidry is my GGG Grandfather, what Parish? Believe another lived in SW, La, mine WAS from Assumption, Lafourche, Terrebonne Parish. Hope some of this helps, You are my first contact on this family..THANKS cLAIRE bARKER Notify Administrator about this message?
